How to get to Kon Tum

By Airplane: 

If you only have a limited number of days in Vietnam, then flying is your best choice to spend quality time in your trio. Everyday, there are a few domestic flights from Ho Chi Minh city,  Hanoi  or Da Nang to Pleiku airport, from there you can take on the bus or taxi to get Kon Tum. 

By bus:  

*HO CHI MINH

There is a direct bus from Ho Chi Minh city to Kontum. The bus will take 12 hours to get the Kontum bus station with around 500,000-580.000 Vnd for a round-trip ticket.

*HOI AN  ( da nang)

If you stay in  Hoi An, you can take on the bus or taxi to get Da Nang bus station, then buy the ticket to Kontum:

• Available go by minibus on the day , will take 6 hours to get the Kontum with around 240,000- 300,000  VND

• Or sleeping bus at evening, The buses will take 8 hours to get the Kontum in the early morning with around 250,000-350,000 VND

(Note: All Bus go to Kontum via Ho Chi Minh road)

Length: 310 km

*DA LAT

This is the typical route of Vietnam Highlands and popular for native people. However, it’s not popular for tourists, so the quality of the transport service can not meet the tourist standard. the cost around  350,000 - 450,000 Vnd for a round-trip ticket

Length: 475 km

Duration: it takes you 10 -11 hours

-Also, it’s not popular for tourists, the cost around 300,000-420,000 Vnd for a round-trip ticket

Length: 380 km

Duration: it takes you 8 hours

it’s not popular for tourists too, the cost around 220,000-250,000 Vnd for a round-trip ticket

Length: 220 km

Duration: it takes you 4.5 hours (minibus  only, depart Quy Nhon in the morning)
